BMW Group Australia takes all safety recalls very seriously.  Our customer’s safety in our Car and Motorrad (motorcycle) products continues to be of paramount importance and it remains our objective to have all vehicles subject to any recall rectified as soon as possible.

BMW Group Australia will notify the registered owner in writing if their vehicle is affected by a recall campaign. You can also identify any outstanding recalls by entering your unique Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or registration details into the Recall Status Tool or click on the image below and leave the BMW Clubs Australia website.

Australian Government Vehicle Recalls

The Australian Government regulates the manufacture, importation and first supply to the market of road vehicles to ensure an acceptable level of safety, emission control and anti-theft protection across the Australian vehicle fleet.

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications administers these arrangements under the Road Vehicle Standards Act 2018 and the Road Vehicle Standards Rules 2019 which together are known as the RVS legislation.
